Grilled Shrimp

  • 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 5 tablespoons Miss ‘P’ All Purpose Mix Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoons bar-b-q sauce (use your own favourite brand)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Lime or Lemon wedges for serving

In a medium size bowl combine Miss ‘P’ All Purpose Mix Seasoning, bar-b-q sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and black pepper. Put aside about ¼ of marinate for brushing onto the shrimp while it is grilling.

Add shrimp to the remaining marinate and mix well. Refrigerate the marinated shrimp for 30 minutes. 

Preheat grill for medium heat.

Thread shrimp onto skewers (you can also add red and green bell peppers, cherry tomatoes and/or pineapple, add veggies of your own choice). Grill shrimp on each side for about 3 minutes turning the shrimp halfway through the process. Make sure to baste the shrimp generously each time with the reserve marinate that was put aside. The outside of the shrimp should turn a nice pink color when it is cooked while the meat inside should be white and opaque.

Serve hot with any of the following: Seasoned Rice, Pasta, Mix Vegetables, Mash Potatoes or Salad
